JAHNYA
Days had past since she had last seen Professor. The stag had seemed to just disappear right from under her nose, and she was left to wander alone again. But she wasn't worried. These lands seemed to be okay, and she knew she would run into the stallion again eventually. When the timing was right, they would cross paths again. So, for now, she was just wandering around and exploring the lands. She knew it might pay off one day to know the lands she was living in.
In the days that had past since she accidentally escaped captivation, she had adopted many of the ways she knew were for the wild horses. Her instincts were kicking in slowly, and she was figuring out how to live without walls on all sides. But she had grown lonely. The days were long with no interaction with anyone. She wasn't sure what exactly it was that she wanted, but she knew she didn't like being alone.
So she was wandering, looking for someone that she could talk to. Someone that she could shoot the wind with. Perhaps another someone that would become her friend, and she could spend time with. She had thought that things were going exceptionally well with Professor, but maybe she had been wrong. He hadn't mentioned anything about them becoming a thing, and she wasn't confident enough to broach the subject herself. She had felt as though they had formed a connection, but now that he was gone from her company, she wondering if he had merely stopped to help her out, and decided she wasn't worth it.
She didn't hold it against him, though. The males stayed busy. Perhaps he had just had something that needed taking care of, and he had returned to find her gone. She wasn't sure, but she wasn't upset with him. There was no reason in her being so, not after everything that he had done for her. Everything he had done had been out of the goodness of his heart, and she didn't know of any ways that she could have repaid him for his actions. No way other than staying out of his way when he needed her to.
But it was springtime now, and she admired the beauty of the lands. She worried a bit, because she knew that springtime was when the humans had started breeding the older mares. It was worrying that she was out alone in her condition, but over the course of the past few months, she had learned to take things in stride. If someone approached her, no matter the reason, she was open to giving them a chance. After all, it had almost ended badly with Professor when she hadn't trusted him initially. Trust was a big part of any relationship, and she was bound and determined to start some new relationships in this land.
