She was done with the life she was living. Ready to give up again aft she thought that stag that she was going to try and love again was back at his old actions. Snorting loudly at the thought of what this stag was probably doing at this point. Taking the good and pure heart of a mare and turning it around like he had pretty much done to her, but Zilla was beginning to rebel a bit more than he had done before. Though as she got madder and madder she took in a deep breath and looked down to the shell she was given from a very handsome stag. Pausing her motions as she looked down at it. Reaching down and lipping at it playfully before she took in a relaxing breath and closed her eyes. Smelling the salty air that was near by. Shifting her weight as she started to walk again.

Eyes looking down to the water that she was getting closer to. Allowing her pillars to wander into the waters of the lagoon. Seeing the crisp blue waters that laid before her eyes. Giving a soft smile as she wandered down to the water's edge. Allowing her skull do drop to the water as she toyed with it for a moment. Once her pillars were more into the water and about up to her knees. She started to fall slowly down into the water. Feeling the saltiness of the water cleansing her body and the warmth of the sun slowly helping heal her body a bit more. Wondering just who might wander by since she wandered out of the land that her suppose herd was going to be upon. Wanting to take  her words back about just trying it seeing that Mardy gave her no real answer to say except for, 'Yes'.

He hadn’t seen the mare in some time, he had merely gathered the thought and idea that she had gone back to her old stag and was now happy. Large daggers pushed his heavy body forward at a steady rhythmic canter that kept his thoughts peaceful and happy, he didn’t like being upset or mad and always found the good in the bad, some may call him unrealistic but the stallion did every so often let something get him all worked up but it never made him feel good when he did. He slowed as he neared the lagoon, he could smell the salt waters and they were calling to his aching and tired body. He may not have had a land or mares but that didn’t stop him from doing what any stallion would do, patrolling. Every night he was up and wandering around the free lands looking for others who may have needed his help but he never found any just silence. Adonis let out a long and drawn sigh, not realizing he had stopped until he realized he wasn’t getting any closer to the water, pillars pushed forward into a walk, feathers moving every time his daggers connected with the ground. Finally he could see the lagoon and came to a halt as he saw her. There she was laying in the water seeming to be at ease, it brought a grin to his features as he once more started walking, getting closer and closer. “Zilla how have you been?” He spoke as he entered the water and lowered his aching frame to the salty waters below.

Zilla did not believe just what she was starting to see as she looked around. The sight of another draft heading in her direction. Thinking that it might be some loner stag since she did not caught his scent due to the water that her body rested in. Eyes wandering back around until she heard the daggers slow and halt for a moment and began to hear them enter the water with the sound of the stag's voice entering into her thorns as she kept her body within the water. Turning her skull to see the sight of Adonis making his way into where they were at. Smiling  while he came down into the water near hers. Shifting his weight lightly as she reached out nipped at his boa playfully with a smile. 

"I think I just got a bit better seeing your smiling face again."

She said with a smile there upon her muzzle as she moved herself closer to the stag than she had before. Taking in a deep breath of his scent as she rested her nares upon his boa.

"Could be happier though. Seems like I should have just kept my distance and gone off with you. I shouldn't have tried to make things better. Didn't help that he, Mardy, really gave me no choice of saying no to his offer. Just don't want anything to do with him now. Someone else opened my eyes to something way better than him. But anyways, how have you been?"

She was talking about Adonis towards the end of her words. Speaking of how he had shown her happiness more than Mardy had done for her. She wanted Adonis for herself, but didn't know how to get out of the grips of Mardy. Knowing that he would be wanting something very soon that it was that time of the year and the fact she could feel that she was starting to come into season herself now. Yes, she was wanting a foal, but just did not know how she was going to get one at this point since she did not want one from this stag, Mardy, any more than the foals she had given him before.

He grinned, “Dear Zilla are you referring to me? You know my offer always stands, I may not have a home or land but I will love you and make you my one, my queen.” He spoke quietly, shifting his legs under him to find that every comfy spot, which he soon achieved. “Oh as to how I have been oh you know hanging in there, just relaxing enjoying my days not having to worry too much, enjoying my brief retirement from being king because I have all intentions of getting a land eventually just not in a rush.” He chuckled and looked out across the lands before looking to Zilla. “You know dear you should really stay scarce right now, it is that time of the year and I have already witnessed poor mares taken against their will.” He winced at the thought an shook his crown trying to rid the thoughts, he didn’t want to hear that she had been raped and hurt during this time, he also didn’t like that certain stallions seemed to lose it during this time and fewer seemed to keep their cool and composer around mares. Shifting, he carefully stood and moved away to give his massive frame a hefty shake and avoid getting her more wet then she already was. He stretched and then looked at her while waiting for her reply.

Smile came across her muzzle as she took in the terms of the stag that was before her. Seeing that smile and hearing his words always placed a smile there upon her muzzle as he spoke. Watching as he shifted slightly while she thought of the words to say to the stag.

"Yes, I am referring to a stallions such as yourself. An I want to take your offer and be your queen, Adonis, just know there would be wanted posters out for me."

Speaking towards the stag as she shifted her weight as well before her thorns perked and took in the words of the stag and all she could do was smile. Knowing that he was enjoying the bachelor life and that Zilla would be interrupting it if she was to join this stag. He would have a job back on his hands even though she knew how to hold her own. 

"Well someone has the easy life."

She added on with a bit of laughter within her terms as she looked upon the stags figure as his eyes drifted away and then she could feel he was looking a her once again. Taking in his words as he talked about it being that time of the year and seeing his face kind of change and than he moved up and upon his daggers before moving away a bit and shaking his body. All she could do was send him a smile and a soft chuckle from her muzzle as she looked at the stag.

"With age, I have learned at this salty air hides that smell from stallions. Seeing that it has worked on you and you have shown no signs of me in season. For you might be a good well composed stallion. It's not hard to spot those small body signals." 

Moving the weight from under her daggers as she moved up onto her daggers and moved over toward the stallion with thorns perked. Feeling as the water dripped from her figure and not even a shake from her body came. She just allowed the water to slowly drip off of her body as she moved over to the stag that stood near her. Reaching out and nipping at his banner teasingly. Giving him a smirk as she wandered past him and bumped his shoulder with her rump teasingly as she moved more up onto the sandy shore line before turning her skull and looking back to the stag with thorns perked.

He stood stock still as she teased him but kept himself composed and when she moved away he merely stood there and cocked his hind pillar. “I am a well composed stallion, I may have noticed things but I wont act unless im asked to provide my services, that is how it was with all my mares if they wanted a foal they would ask me and I would deliver, its all up to the mare really it isn’t my choice to decide.” He grinned and shifted his weight again, “That’s how I ended up with Don, Ava and George im very proud of all my children and they have gone on and carried a lot of me with them, they all have my docile temper and fair approach my only girl has a bit of her mothers spit fire but I don’t mind.” He chuckled and approached her, nibbling along her nape. “So dear Zilla are you asking me or just playing because I don’t mind either way.” He grinned and walked off again going to stand close to the waters edge but not entering the water, he had enough of the salty substance for one day.

She took in the words of the bronco as she stopped and looked over towards him. Taking in his words as he spoke about how his ladies would ask for a child and yet. . .she liked that idea. Rather than a stallion getting all pokie and think they are going to get it that way. Shifting slightly as she relaxed herself and took in his words. Hearing him speak of his children as all she could do as smile as she thought about her boys.

"My boys definitely were like their mother I would have to say. They got none of their father except for their stocky look and the help to get them created."

She said as she thought about her sperm donor. An all she wanted to do right now was take his body and geld him so that he could have no more children at this point. But shook her skull slightly when she felt the nips of Adonis muzzle upon her figure. Hearing hims finish up speaking about his daughter. Which was one thing that Zilla had never had before in her life and then heard more words come into her thorns. Smirking softly as she thought about it and than wandered over to where he was by the water's edge. Moving her body over to where she stood beside him

"I might just be asking for another. Seeing that you are a better seeming father than my sperm donor who gave me two sons. Though if we do do this, Adonis. I ask you to please let me stay with you. If I go back to Mardy and he find the foal is not his than I will pretty much watch a child die again and I can't have that anymore and he would come after you after that and lock me away some where."

Words soft as she turned his gaze over to him with soft eyes. Reaching over and nipping his mane gently as wondered just what she was going to hear from him. It was kind of making her nervous at this point but she had to bring it up. She knew Mardy to well to know that he would not give up on her.

Adonis nibbled softly upon her nape and down her spine stopping at the base of her tail and working his way back up as he listened to her speak. “You can stay with me I will protect you and our child, he will understand and should understand what you want and what you want isn’t him he cant hold on to something that is already gone.” He spoke softly nibbling along her spine, he would find another mare just to give her a home and place to feel safe. That stallion would never be allowed to step foot across his borders. With a snort at that thought he calmly walked around the mare and very gently mounted her.

Slipping from her body with just as much care and kindness has he had given her he shook his frame and stretched, he didn’t like that his bones ached more as the seasons changed, it had always been something that had plagued him from foal on through but after a quick stretch he felt better. He nibbled her shoulder and nape before settling alongside her, “now just to get us a home but that’s going to require another mare are you ok with that? You are my number one though it will always be you and you will be my queen no matter what.” Adonis spoke softly to her, cocking a hind hoof he waited patiently.

She could not help but smile as she took in the words of the stag. Hearing his words that he would protect them and all she could do was smile at him. "home or no home I'll be glad just to be with you." She said with a smirk. Feeling his nibbles upon his body while she shifted her weight. Knowing just what he was bout to do. An once he went to her tail for the last time. She could feel his body fall right behind on time.

Moments later he took his body off of her's. Looking back to him with a smile as he moved to where he was nipping at her shoulder. Hearing his words as he asked about finding another mare to make a home and she gave him a light smile as she was kind of schocked at his words. "my dear Adonis, I thank you for asking and so hot mind you doing so." She said softly as she nipped at his ribbons.

"come rest ny stud muffin." She chuckled as she allowed her body to move into the water at a trot until she got to where it was deep water and she looked at him with a smirk upon her face.

Adonis chuckled and trotted after her, deciding to pick the soft sand as a place to rest verses the salty water. He wasn’t in the mood to get more salty, he wanted to go find a fresh water source and get properly washed up but he wasn’t also going to complain about being able to spend all the time in the world with Zilla, he loved the mare dearly and couldn’t believe she had finally agreed to stay with him and not return to Murdy. She had general seemed upset by her old stallions recent behavior and he couldn’t blame her, with a snort he lowered his frame to the sand and kicked his pillars out, enjoying the comfort the sand gave him and his aching joints. “We should find a proper place to get washed up at, something with freshwater and a good food source so we could also rest there while I work on finding another mare and place for us to all call home.” He spoke gently and calmly, he couldn’t believe how fast his butt was being dragged out of retirement.

She snickered at Adonis as she could see that the stag was definitely surprised with everything that had happened. Seeing that he was enjoying the single life until Zilla came into the picture. She could only smile as she looked at him and listened to his words. Seeing he wanted to go wash off but she wanted a dip in the salt water since she had not done what they had done in quite a while and wanted her muscle to calm themselves. An after a moment she trotted out slowly and then cantered past him. Reaching over and nipping his cheek as she just took off towards the fresh water without saying a word. Grinning as she looked back and pushed herself until she found the water. But she did not want to go in through the shallow end. No she moved over to the cliff that was near by and jumped right in that way. feeling the water come up around her but her daggers hit the floor and kept her head above water. 

Grinning from ear to ear as she dunked her head into the water and through her skull up into the air and felt the water fly off of her and land behind her. Snickering as she looked around. Wondering just when Adonis was going to pop up.

The large brute watched the mare while he laid in the sand but before he could really get comfy she took off past him, nipping his cheek as she went by. He snorted and heaved himself up shaking his frame off and trotting after her taking his very sweet time getting to the water where he about had a heart attack as she launched herself off a cliff and into the water below. He grinned watching her but decided to leave the cliff diving for her. Instead he just trotted in through the shallows and out to her enjoying the feel of the water on his frame as it washed away all the days events and the sticky pine sap he had gotten into earlier. “So you enjoy cliff diving I see and giving me a heart attack.” He chuckled and nipped at her hark before moving away, and dipping under the water leaving just the tips of his ears visible before finally popping up and shaking the water free before once more disappearing, lowering his harks flat against his crown he pushed through the water and pass her rump nipping her hip as he came up for air, “ok done being a shark I don’t know what is so interesting about their life.” He spoke with a grin.

Zilla was ever so happy to have found herself a stag like Adonis. Always have fun and when she saw that Adonis was there when she had jumped in. Grinning from ear to ear as she watched him come into the water and speak into her direction and all she could do was chuckle lightly.

"Well of course, well minus the heart attack." 

She said with a big grin upon her muzzle. Watching as he disappeared under the water. Not thinking of what he might do, but all her eyes could do was watch his thorns with a snicker. Seeing that he was swimming around and then she felt a nip to her hip. Causing her to send out a squeal and jump forwards a little bit. Grinning back at him as he came up out of the water with his head. Reaching over to him and nipping at his neck playfully.

"Looks like shark thought he could nip away at my leg."

Adonis was glad to have this stallion enjoy her company. Take time with her and enjoy just what she has to show at this point. Shifting her weight as she moved closer to the bronco as she groomed at his mane in the water. Almost as if she was washing his mane out for him. Looking over to him with a smile as his mane came untangled and then she moved back a little bit and looked at her with a smile. 

"There that is better."

Saying her words with a wide smile as she looked at his mane and then looked over to him and wandered just what he was going to even say towards what she had done for him.

Adonis chuckled softly, “I will have to keep an eye out for that pesky shark aint no shark going to be taking nibbles out of my girls leg.” He winked and watched her near him and start working on his mane, untangling the tangles that had been there and then stepping back to admire her work. “Thank you dear but you do know that in a weeks’ time they will be tangled again.” He grinned and then gave a light chuckle, nearing her to nibble along her nape before exiting the water and giving his heavy bone frame a hearty shake and then trotted over to the tall grass and began to tare at it and chew as he watched her in the water, he was happy as could be right now and glad she wasn’t planning on returning to him. He needed to work on the home side of things now but for now this would have to do, he scanned the lands and spot a cave which would be perfect for sleeping and protecting her, they had a water and food source right her as well. It was the perfect temporary home, he looked to her and grinned.

For once to be at peace or was this just all a dream? Her boys were gone, her old mate was up to no good again, and now she has a lover that really was a lover. Thinking about it all she kind of wished that she never found Mardy now. She rather have just been found by Adonis. His happiness seemed to have lifted her spirit. Hearing the sound of his chuckle and than words filled her thorns with a smile there on her face. 

"Yes, I'm going to need every bit of my legs soon enough." 

She said with a widened smile and seeing that wink from his eyes made her smile go wider. Then watched as his eyes looked over what she had done for him and all she could do was smile widely. She could not help but giggle a little bit as she took in his words.

"Yes, I know but it always feels good to have an untangled mane." 

Feeling his nibbles upon her neck and then his figure exiting the water allowed his eyes to loo about the place. Hearing him go over towards the water and she was able to relax for a moment. Looking around until her eyes fell upon him and seeing that smile upon her muzzle before her eyes looked down to the water and then a shocked look came upon her face as she realized something. She left her necklace back where she was swimming at. 

She quickly moved her figure out of the water as quick as she could right now. Snorting loudly as she pushed her figure to the shore, shook her figure off quickly and took off. Looking over to him quickly as she said quickly, "I forgot something. Stay." Words were jumbled, but she had to get her necklace. She needed it now and not later. Shifting the weight in her hooves as she moved herself quicker over the land to the sands of the shore. Looking around and there it was. Placed neatly upon the branch of a tree. Shifting her weight as she slowed down and walked over to it. Taking it off to where it slipped right over her neck. Looking down at it with a smile.

Taking in a sigh of relief, she turned and made her way back to where Adonis was in a canter motion. Flickering her thorns around as she found him. Slowing her figure as she wandered back over to him with her daggers walking her at a steady pace. Reaching over and nipping his shoulder before looking down to her necklace and back up to him.

"Sorry, can't leave this."

She said with a widened smile while she looked down to the shell that dangled from her neck. An then let her eyes drift back up to the stag she loved. Reaching over and nipping at his pelt teasingly before she shifted a bit more and rested her head right across his back side. Wondering just what she was going to hear from him. Unsure if she was going to hear it from him that she ran off so quickly and almost a scared like run.
