KODA
The crystal pond rippled quietly behind him, the sun shining off the surface. He was beyond excited, and equally as nervous for this meeting. This would be the first time his girls met each other. Oh, how he hoped they would get along splendidly. It would be so difficult if they ended up disliking each other. It would make these types of meetings awkward. All he wanted was the two girls he cherished to find a friendship in each other. After all, girls had to stick together, right? And as of now, they were the only two here. They were bound to gravitate to each other. All the fillies in his old band had formed close bonds; they would whisper, and giggle, and hide their faces in each other's necks when they were caught looking at another horse. He hoped Ilene and Georgia would develop that kind of relationship, where they could depend on each other. He couldn't be around every time they needed something, and having someone close to talk to would be much less stressful on the ladies.
But, in order for them to meet, he supposed he would need to let them know it was time for them all to gather. He lifted his head high, and let the rumble from deep in his chest escape through his mouth. It echoed over the lands, swerving around trees and over bushes. They would hear his call, he was sure he was loud enough for that. He had never been accused of being too quiet, that was for sure. Now it was all a game of patience. He was anxious to see them both again, and he was anxious for them to meet one another. He would merely play referee, and be sure that no potential arguments got out of hand. But both mares were sweet. They should get along fantastically.
