What was Zilla going to do at this point in time? Her heart was broken and knew that it was not going to be repaired. Yes, this was a new land where she can start fresh, but after running into Mardy again. She knew things would not change for her. The thought of her children dying and their father here again and already in search of another mare. Since she could tell by the way he had spoke his terms towards her when they first saw each other again. Sighing as she looked down to the ground below her daggers. Shifting the weight of her daggers as she wandered further over the terrain. Making her way down into a dark cavern that she had not seen before. 

Eyes looked all around from side to side. Shifting weight in her daggers as she halted. Not wanting to go any further down into the darkness before her. Falling down to the terrain and closing her eyes as she laid there. She was just broke all together. She wanted to be happy all together. To have her own ways in life and choose the things she wanted and to just have her kids and be happy again. Feeling as if this was the last time that Zilla could put up with what Mardy. He had really broke her mentally at this point. All he was worried about was mares and power. Not even his own children, the mare that really loved him, or just keeping a good hold upon a herd. Her eyes slowly opened as she looked up to the light that was pouring into this place. "Just why?" She said softly out loud before she laid her body all the way on her side. Pillars stretched out and her head laid down upon the ground with her back against the wall. Wanting nothing to do with anyone since she could never be happy at this point.

The heavy boned stallion feathered pillars hit the ground with a rhythm only he could muster. His head was carried proud despite having no land of his own. He had been here for a few days now and felt like this had been the right choice, leaving his herd in the care of his eldest son and moving on for something fresh. With a shake of his crown he cleared his thick forelock and pranced on. The sky above him beginning to darken with the approach of rain clouds and he knew he better seek shelter soon but not too soon. He liked this land, from everything he had seen so far and even though he scared some smaller creatures others had paid no mind to him. He stopped and lowered his crown and drank from the water below his hooves before continuing on his journey feeling the first few drops of rain touch his pelt which caused his pelt to twitch from crown to tail. It didn’t bother Adonis much a little water never hurt nobody it just made character. He chuckled at his own thought and felt the rain pick up a steady pace as he continued to trot along finding a cave soon enough and entering but stopping short when he saw another figure laying there on their side almost bringing the mood down to a grinding halt. He tilted his crown and then righted clearing his voice. “Excuses me miss but what seems to have you down on a wonderful day like today?” “Oh the names Adonis.” He spoke again with a light smile and a gentleness to his voice.

Grief filled her body as she laid there. Hearing the sound of hooves coming in her direction but she did not even move. She did not care if it was a herd of horses storming through and would trample her to death at this point. She would be happy with that. To go and see her children again and see a smile upon their faces was all that she wanted to see. Though when she heard the sound of the daggers slow up and not come down is when here eyes wanted to see just what it was. An as her eyes looked up towards the opening. She could see the sight of a stud standing there. Tilting his skull and allowing words to spill from his muzzle.

'Excuse me miss, but what seems to have you down on a wonderful day like today. Oh the name is Adonis.' His words being ever so kind and sweet towards her, but all she could do was move her eyes towards him and then back away towards the other wall that she had been staring at for a good amount of time. "You can say that I have lost two children of my own, my, suppose to be', mate thinks i'm jealous of all the mares he brings in and thinks I want to still be his lead for the things he does, and I can't ever find one thing to keep a smile. That's all I want is to be happy. An I have walked for miles none stop, hardly ate or drank and I'm just worn out with this ride." All her words were true as she paused to get her thoughts back together. "My name is Zilla, if you wish to know." She said as she shifted her figure and up she slowly came. Her pillars shakie, hooves crying to her just to keep laying down, and her mind forcing everything to keep moving as she stood up and leaned against the wall. Gazing at the stud as she was wondering just what this stag might even say towards her as she rested there against the walls. Trying to keep herself up off of the ground.

As he listened to her words he decided he merely wasn’t going to let this mare die like she wanted so without a word he turned and went back out into the rain, picked the biggest leaf he could find that was bowl shaped let it fill with rain water and brought it back to the mare placing it at her hooves before once more going out into the rain and gathering some of the taller grass and bringing that back to her as well. He backed and gave his frame a hefty shake before looking to her. “Dear Zilla that just wont do in my books, you need to eat and drink and gather your strength and just because part of your life doesn’t go well doesn’t mean you have to give up, I didn’t give up when my mate passed away, I continued to guide my herd until I decided I needed something new at that point my eldest son took over and I went on my way and I haven’t regretted it at all I actually feel at easy and like this was the right choice, not even the rain can get me down.” He chuckled and grinned as he looked to her, cocking one of his large feathered pillars. “Now eat and drink and then get some sleep no harm or pain shall come to you tonight while I am here.” His tones were once more gentle as he lowered his large frame in front of the entrance to the cave no one would get passed his bolder sized frame.

Her daggers shifted as she watched him carefully. Unsure of just what he might be doing at this point. She watched as he had turned his massive figure away and wandered back out of the cave. Not knowing just what he was out there doing. She just wondered if he got bored and didn't like what she said and just left or what. Sighing as she looked down towards the ground and then her thorns perked and head shifted to where she was looking towards him. Watching him approach her and seeing he had filled up a leaf with some water and then he went out again. She could not help but watch him carefully with thorns perked to see just what he might be doing again. An then he had come back and placed a good amount of grass right down at her feet. An then she tucked her head slightly when he back his figure and began to shake.

Her eyes were shocked with just what she was seeing. Was he really being nice to her? Treating her like any mare should be treated? Being surprised she waited to see what he was going to say towards her. Taking int he terms of the stag as he was speaking the truth of her needing her strength and stuff and then switching over towards his mate who had died and them him handing his herd to his eldest son. Which kind of made him think of Dusty Devil who had been trying to go and start his own herd. She could not help but smile at the stags words as he spoke towards her. Hearing him say that she could go and eat and sleep. That he would go and watch over her while she rested.

"Wow, your mare was one lucky girl. Thanks for that." She said softly as she watched him go and rest his body right onto the ground in front of the cave way. Her head lowering down towards the ground as she ate the food as fast as she could and seemed to have sucked down the water. Letting out a sigh of relief as she gazed up towards where the stag was. Moving her figure slowly as she walked up towards the stag slowly. Allowing her figure to slowly fall down to the ground right behind him. Yes, she just met this stag but she felt safe and secure. All she wanted was this and this stallion seemed to give it to her. Allowing her figure to lay inches from behind him. Taking her skull and resting his skull up against her front pillars. Not wanting to leave him or even move from this spot.

Adonis watched the mare with quiet eyes and a quiet mind, he listened to her words and then watched her come over and lay down next to him, he closed the mere inches between them and began to groom her, working the tangles out of her mane as he thought about what to say. “All my mares were treated the same and both my sons take after my own nature so I was very blessed my daughter also takes after my nature but has a bit of her mothers firey side.” He chuckled again and went back to grooming her getting the last of the tangles out and then resting his crown on his own pillars, “You really deserve to find someone better dear Zilla, you need someone who is going to love and care for you, whos going to love your children and someone who wants them, I know we just met but I could give you all that Zilla give me a chance to prove it.” He spoke softly, raising his crown to nuzzle her crown, she was pretty and he wanted to give her the world on a silver platter if he could and he would try to give her just that. He lowered his crown again and flicked his harks listening to the rain that was just beginning to stop but he would lay here and give Zilla a peace of mind and then come morning he would find her the prettiest shell and give it to her as a gift, his eyes closed while he waited for her to speak one hark tuned to the outside world the other toward her.

She could not help but feel as he reached over and began to groom at her figure. Thorns perked upon her skull as she slowly allowed her eye to turn and look towards the stag with a bit of interest upon her face. Enjoying the touches the stag made upon her figure. Listening to him talk about his children and how they were like him except for his daughter who was firey like her mother. An all she could do was smile as she sat up a bit and looked outside. "I loved my sons. Watching them get raped and killed before my eyes while being held down was not something I was wishing to see. Though I do have to say I wish I had a daughter to have some fun with." She replied with a soft smile there upon her face. Trying to lighten things up like how they had been going.

Feeling as he finished the couple other tangled pieces that she had within her mane. Smiling softly as she nodded to him and said, "Thank you." Before any thing came from his mouth and then finally more words had been sent right into her direction. Taking in everything he was saying. 'You really deserve to find someone better, dear Zilla, you need someone who is going to love and care for you, who's going to love your children and someone who wants them. I know we just met, but I could give you all that Zilla. Give me a chance to prove it.' Oh how she loved hearing the words of this stag as he had spoke right towards her. Watching as his skull came up and began to nuzzle her skull.

"Adonis, you give me butterflies thinking of all this. I would love to give you the chance, but I know that Mardy would not even give the chance. He'd want to kill you for even touching me in any way. Such a greedy stallion he is and yet expects so much out of me. I want out of it, but there is never an escape. Even if he said I could leave he would still come after me." She said softly as she looked over to the stag with thorns perked upon her heads. Lowering her skull back to the ground as she felt ashamed of her words, but this stag was getting to her heart. His words, his actions and just everything about him. All she wanted to do was curl up close to him, but she was afraid of getting hurt deep inside once again.

Adonis nodded he was a very understanding stallion but if a mare was unhappy it should be her choice weather she wanted to leave or not but he wasn’t one to push. “Very well dear Zilla.” He spoke, moving closer to her and wrapping his crown around her own, watching until she fell asleep. He kept watch most of the night sleeping here and there once morning came he stood quietly so as not to wake her and went to bring her food and water again before enjoying his morning breakfast himself. Afterward he checked on her and then made the short walk to the beach, playing in the surf as he searched for shells among the sand and waves. Large hooves making large divots in the sand before being washed away, he finally found the perfect shell, and picked it up carefully in his mouth before bringing it back to the cave and setting it next to the leaf of water and food and with that he exited the cave and found a nice sunny patchy area of grass and lowered his massive frame down, first rolling to the left then to the right before finally settling on his left side and soaking up the early morning rays, which he found felt a lot better than that of the afternoon rays. Rubbing his face upon the grass, he closed his eyes knowing as soon as she left the cave she would see him right away, he had done that so he could still protect her but not be cooped up inside.

Zilla really wanted to be with the stag. She even thought he would say more words than he had said, but he just listened to the sound of the stag. Allowing her eyes to slowly drift off to sleep. Her mind racing from side to side and then feeling as his body removed from her side, but she did not wake all the way up just yet. Shifting as she got herself comfortable again. Unsure of just what he might be doing. So he allowed her figure to rest some more. Smiling to herself as she finally felt comfortable enough to rest like she needed to. Taking in a deep breath of air as she could smell that something near by that smelled so goo but she did not want to move.

Her body shifted as she finally began to wake up slowly. Her body slowly moving up to where she was sitting up. Smiling as she looked down at the nice meal he had brought her. Smiling as she looked outside to the sunny day that was awaiting her. Reaching out and munching down upon the food that was brought for her and the bit of what she had. An then her eyes looked and fell upon a shell that was ever so beautiful. Smiling as she looked at it for a moment with a smile. Reaching down and rolling it over slowly. Seeing that there was a way that she could tie it up and put it on herself. So her eyes looked around. Trying to figure out just if there was something to go and use. Seeing a good piece of vine and reached up and took it down. Smiling as she slowly slipped the vine through it. Glad that it was already seeming to be looped. An she was able to go and some how knot it and slip it over her neck slowly. Looking down at it with a smile upon her muzzle. Then she moved her figure out into the opening.

Stretching out her pillars before she saw the sight of Adonis laying upon the ground. Smirking as she cantered forwards and leaped over him. Quickly turning and lowering her body down towards him and nuzzling all over his neck with a grin. Snickering as she nipped his shoulder and got up quickly with a bit of a smile there upon her muzzle. For she was feeling a bit better than she had thanks to this stag.

Adonis was enjoying his morning sun, it was the perfect temperature not to warm but not too cold. The afternoon sun tended to be too warm for the heavy boned beast with the thick feathers. Rubbing his face on the grass, his eyes still closed he was beginning to doze until he heard the sound of hooves coming towards him and just opened an eye in time to catch the rather heavy boned but beautiful mare sailing over him before turning around and nipping him and then lowering her frame next to him. He rolled over on to his back and tugged at her mane before nibbling along her shoulder and then looked at her. “Did you enjoy your meal and your gift?” He questioned softly rolling over and standing shaking his frame, “I enjoy the morning sun a lot better than the afternoon it seems to be just the right temperature not to hot and not to cold.” He chuckled and leaned his head down nuzzling her cheek, “I still think you should join me, you could be my main mare my queen my love and we could find the perfect land, it would be your call if you don’t like it we could move on, I mean we would have to find one other to join our little group but you would still be my number one girl.” He spoke with a smile still looking down at her waiting.

Zilla could feel herself wanting to be able to be healed. To have that smile upon her muzzle that one last time, but it was so hard to pull this one off. Shifting her daggers slightly as she looked down to the stag with a smile upon her muzzle as he nipped at her ribbons. Feeling his nibbles upon her shoulder blade before he started to speak towards her again. Smiling as she laid down upon the terrain as he stood up after speaking. "I yes I did thank you and I hung the gift up so that I could not break it." She said with a soft smile upon her muzzle as she looked over the stag with a smirk for once. Seeing his figure shake before he spoke towards her again. 

Talking about him enjoying the sun early in the morning rather than back into the afternoon time where it is a bit cooler. She smiled as he reached down to her and nuzzled at her cheek. "Why yes, that is very true there. Always nice early in the morning." She replied to him with a soft smile there now as she watched him carefully. Then more words came from his muzzle and something that she did not expect. They were close to the words Marauder had said towards her, but they were more of a queen status than anything else. She thought about it for a moment while she continued to talk towards her.

She shifted her weight as she thought about it for a moment and then lifted her figure up off of the ground that she was laying upon. Shifting the weight under her daggers as she looked over to him with thorns perked. "I want to go with you, Adonis. I really do. But do you think you could handle Marauder if he comes after me?" She asked as she looked at the stallion. Knowing that Mardy was always one to never back down letting his girls go. It was one thing that Zilla knew would be hard for her to ever leave any place.

He listened to her speak and pondered her words but he knew what he needed to do and he would do it, even though he hated fighting but it had to be part of stallions life right? “I will deal with that if it comes for now I just want to get you better and show you what real love is.” He spoke reaching down to nuzzle Zilla before prancing around her and then settling, the older stallion still had some pep in his step and he enjoyed using that pep when he had his own young children to run after and play with. He shook out his mane and then lowered his frame to the ground making sure he was close to Zilla, “I will also make sure you get to have children who will be protected and live to see the earth as long as I have.” He chuckled at that thought and laid out on his side with a yawn, finding the morning sun to lulling him into a lazy state of mind he just wanted to lay here all day with Zilla and not do a thing but he knew that wouldn’t happen after all they both didn’t enjoy the afternoon sun and at that point they would have to find some shade to lounge in maybe with a dash of sun coming through the branches so it wouldn’t be so cold. “We will have to find a place to relax in the afternoon to avoid the sun.” He grinned and waited.
