ZILLA
beware of the _creature within

Zilla decided to take the stag's offer and see just what he would have in mind at this point in time. Eyes looking around the place with thorns perked high upon the stop of her skull as she scanned this place. Trying to figure out what to do around here now that she was here. She had not seen Adonis for a while now, but of course she wore the vine that had a small shell on it with pride. To know that there was a stallion that cared for her and waned her for who she was and really was wanting to put his life with hers and make sure she was safe and not do what Mardy has been doing over the years. Taking in a deep breath of air as she could see that Mardy was around and there was the smell of another mare around on these lands. Sighing at the thought of this other mare being around on these very lands.

"Great. Here we go again."

She thought as she wandered forwards. Her body feeling a bit better than it had before. Snorting as she lowered her head and ate at the grass below. Not even nickering out loud to let anyone know that she was around. She was not going to let anyone know she was there. If she was going to be found. Than they would have to come out and find her or just run into her. Though right now she was not in a good mood anymore. She knew this stag she once really really loved was up to something again and she was not approving of just what was going to happen if she saw the sight of them doing anything. Well since she did smell the scent of another mare around these lands.

FOX

This was the first time she had strayed from the waterfall since coming to the lands. There had been no desire in her to see any other parts of the lands. But a spark had lit in her heart, and her legs had started moving, and here she was, exploring the lands. It was a bit overwhelming, to say the least. There were old smells, and new smells, and smells she had no idea what they were. But she was bound and determined to walk the lands before she retreated back to her waterfall. At least then, when Mardy came hollering again, she could at least tell him she had seen his lands. Maybe it would get him off her back.

The wind shifted, and the scent of another mare hit her. Was this the Zilla he had been going on and on about? She had to admit, her curiosity was piqued. She wanted to find out who owned the other mare scent, and maybe finally meet this other girl.

It didn't take long before she spotted the other mare ripping at the blades of grass. The mare was gorgeous, she had to admit. She could understand what had attracted the stallion to her. She approached cautiously, because she knew nothing about this other mare. She didn't want to startle her, if she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. "Hello. Are you Zilla?" Her words were hushed, not really sure if she should be talking to her right now.

ZILLA

Thorns flickered around as she snapped her jaws at the grass that was under her figure. Not knowing just who might be wandering into her direction, but whoever would come into her direction better be ready to hear the sound of a snappy mare. For Zilla was not in a good mood. All she wanted to do at this point was take Marauder and rip him into tiny pieces truly, but he was no where to be seen to even do such a thing to him. An then her head snapped up when she heard the sound of daggers coming into her direction.

Eyes falling upon the sight of a strangely marked equine that decided to come right up to her and when she took in a deep breath of this mare's scent. Her thorns quickly flatten upon the top of Zilla's Skull. Shifting her weight as she looked at the mare and waited to see just what she wanted as she slowed her roll even more as she came closer to Zilla and then stopped her motions. Taking in the words that the mare said as she seemed a bit of the submissive side.

"What's it to you? Did Mardy send you ahead to come look for me instead of his own self? I knew he still couldn't handle his own. . ."

Words were said with a snort as she looked at the mare with anger in her orbs. Taking her dagger and striking it outwards and stamping her hoof print right into the ground below. Feeling the dirt that lingered on the ground fly up from this land being ever so dry from no rain yet. Glaring at the mare as she stood there and shifted her weight.

"What do you want?"

She said with thorns pinned still. Wanting to know exactly just what this mare wanted to know or even want. Zilla was not in the mood at this point to talk to anyone. She was pretty much taken to his place with no real time to think whether she wanted to or not. Seeing that Mardy had told her that he was taking no for an answer at this point.

FOX

Almost instantly, the mare's stance turned aggressive. Though she didn't want to tussle with the other mare, she wouldn't back down if she thought she could beat on her. There was no way she was going to be walked all over by this mare, no matter what. She wasn't a punching bag. So, when the mare's words reached her, she felt her own auds flatten against her skull. Her teeth clacked in response, and her tail lashed in aggravation. Her dagger swiped at the earth, kicking bits of dirt and grass flying to her stomach. How dare she suggest such a thing.

"No one sent me anywhere. Pull that stick out of your ass and learn to take some friendly words." Her voice was harsh, but she wasn't going to let this mare think she could do whatever she wanted and get away with it. She wasn't that kind of girl. She almost laughed at the words the mare said. Asking what she wanted, who would have guessed that was what she would hit on. "I wanted to be friendly and introduce myself, but frankly, I don't really care who you are anymore." Rudeness could be returned with rudeness. She wasn't scared of speaking her mind to this stranger.

Marauder was trying to figure out just where Fox took off to since she was not in her usual place at the waterfall. If something bad happen to her while he was not there, the Belgian draft could never forgive himself. He was going around at a pretty good trot trying to cover as much ground and to look in every place as quickly as possible. Time was against the sorrel roan stallion and he needed to make it up quickly. There was other horses around that wouldn't think twice in either taking or killing Fox if they had the chance. That is when he heard a slight scuffle taking place a short distance away. From the sounds of it it was two mare voices that is when he heard Fox say something about removing a stick from a certain orifice. This caused the sorrel roan stallion to burst out laughing for a few moments, before cantering over to where Zilla and Fox was. He looked slowly from left to right seeing the two mares with ears pinned back and highly aggravated. That is when he spoke sternly.

" I am slightly ashamed of you Zilla as you are suppose to be a lead mare and so should act like it."

He then turned and looked right at Fox and in the same tone.

" And Fox I thought you would be a little better than this, but I guess not."

He then addressed both mares.

" You two better start to get along as there are far worse horses out there that would love nothing, than to come in here, kill me and take you both for themselves. I want a home finally, a place that I can call my own and to be proud of. Now if you two are done then I guess we can all get to know each other."

Marauder could care less on just who started this fight, he was going to put a stop to it so that he could finally start to build his home with his two mares by his side. He hated that he scolded both mares, but if they was going to act like foals then he was going to treat them as such.

ZILLA

Zilla was not impressed by this mare at all. Short dear thing just needed to move on and out of her face and even out of the land she was in. Taking in the snappy mare's words and all that it made Zilla do is start to see red. Wanting to eat this mare alive, but the only reason for the snappiness from Zilla was due to Mardy. And when the last group of words filled Zilla's thorns, she was ready to snap this mare into two. Then the sight of Mardy's carcass filled her globes.

Snorting loudly as she watched the stud, but did not fear anything from him anymore. She knew she had Adonis with her at all times. So she would stand tall up to Mardy. Holding her figure high as he was when he thought he could scold her like that but she truly did not care for his words truly. Snapping her pearls at him as her thorns remained pinned.

"Me? Your lead mare? You didn't even let me answer a question I wanted to come or not. Mister I won't take no for an answer."

She snapped back over at him with those thorns still pinned. Watching him turn and face this other mare. Taking in her name as he snapped at her also. Then started to speak to the both of them and then Zilla started to bust into laughter as she looked at the brute.

"Sperm donor, I already know you more than she does." Pausing as she looked to the other mare. "Did he tell you what he has planned for you? I'm guessing that he hasn't or you haven't guessed yet? But you my dear and any mare that comes here is just a factory for his heir that he wants to use to conquer the world with. Oh and to get those spots of your. Granted I loved boy MY boys that I raised ON MY OWN! But he will breed you, promise you thing and then turn around and offer your foal for an alliance when he pleases to or thinks he needs to do so. So I pray to Epona herself, that you are blessed by another stud than him." quickly whipping her skull and looking at Mardy. "Dont you even think of being a jerk to me now. You know its all true. You as a father. . .pathetic. I dont care if our past herds were broken. You at least could have come for us. Since BOTH of the boys were young and you knew it would be harder for me. That never even happened, didn't even try to look for us. Just pathetic." Turning her eyes back to Fox. "I'm sorry that you joined him, my dear, but id look for another herd if I was you."

She did not care what Mardy thought if her after this. Placing her words right where they needed to be. She wasn't even that angry this time to lunge at the sperm donor. She just stomped her dagger in frustration. Feeling the tears filling her globes before she turned her figure and started away from them. She hated talking about her boys in such a manner, but she had to warn fox of her future. An all Zilla could do was canter away from them. Putting a distance between them before her body collapsed to the ground. Looking at her shell to try and get comfort but it didn't work this time. So she just laid there, unsure of what to even do.

FOX

She expected harsh words from the mare in return, maybe even for a few blows to be traded. But the arrival of Mardy turned her attention away. It was frustrating, to say the least, to be pushed to the side in such a manner, like she wasn't there anymore. Whatever the feud was between Mardy and the newly identified mare - Zilla - was, she wanted no part of it.

But when Mardy resorted to chastising them both, she wasn't going to stand for that. She wasn't going to be treated like an unruly foal. She was way past foalhood, and there was no way she was going to let him talk to her like that. Her pinned ears and hard eyes turned to him, and her teeth clacked to show her displeasure. Her tail whipped harshly against her barrel in irritation. "Do not speak to me as if I am newly born, Marauder," she hissed, her voice angry. "If you expect more than what I am, then you're invested in the wrong mare. I'm not here to live up to your standards. I'm here because I needed you in the same ways you needed me." She knew she had been asked so that he could get a place for a mare that obviously didn't want to be with him. And, despite having someone not opposed to him, she was overlooked. She hadn't cared until he tried to put her in her place.

So maybe the words Zilla spoke out of anger had some truth to them. Maybe she was only here for his gain, but she was here for her gain as well. As for her being a factory for his heirs, he had to know she was in season. Both mares were. But yet, the stag had made no move to force her into anything. Some of what she told had to be exaggerated to make him seem worse than he was. But until she knew him better, she would be thinking and weighing ever word the retreating mare had spoken. She wasn't going to give in and find someone better just because some mare she didn't even like told her it was in her best interests. This was her life to live, and her wins and losses were hers alone.

Even so, she wasn't going to stand by and let him treat her however he chose. She wasn't going to let him go from being gentlemanly and kind one minute, to treating her like she was his over-the-line offspring in need of discipline. If he couldn't handle her in whatever mood she was in, then she would spend her days and nights finding new places to avoid him. No, that was simply a line she was not going to let anyone cross.

Sometimes it didn't pay to even wake up and get out of bed it seemed, and today was one of those days to the poor sorrel roan stallion. Marauder didn't like that his only two mare was fighting and now they turned against him and told him that they didn't like him chastising her. Oh how he wished that he was not even around here right now as he knew both mares would be highly agitated with him for at least the next few days. That is when Zilla answered him by saying that he didn't give her the chance to turn down his offer for the lead mare spot. Oh how he wanted to just go right up to the draft mare and smack her around to at least drive some sense into the big mare. All Marauder could really do though was to take Zilla's little digs and swipes at his character. The thing that stung the worse out of all of it was the name sperm donor. Mardy loved both his sons as much if not more than Zilla and when she told him what happen to them, it took all the Belgian had in him to remain here and not go tearing off in pursuit of the killers.

After Zilla said her piece then Fox had hers, that is when the dunskin sabino mare made her exit. Mardy had to think and think quickly before she got to far away for him to even stop her from leaving. He looked at Fox and then said to her.

" Can I trust you to at least stay while I go confront Zilla. I'm sorry about what just happened, but I don't like it when my mares are about ready to rip each other apart. I only ask that you stay put until I have dealt with Zilla."

That is when he took off after his slightly aggravating mare and finally settle this thing once and for all. He was at almost a full gallop to close the distance between them. Mardy got up to the side and then cut in front of Zilla before slamming on the brakes and skid to a halt. He then spun around to face her and then angerly spoke.

" You think you'er the only one hurting in all of this! You have no idea how I want to just leave and hunt those murdering no good f_ckers down, Zilla. The only reason I don't is because of how you would think that I am just running away again. I have finally decided that I am going to make a home here if it even leads to my death. I didn't make you my lead just as a joke Zilla, I made you lead because I know what I have in you. So if you are done now with the insults and jabs at me, you got a herd to look after in the form of Fox. I want you to listen to what she ask of you, and to work together to make this new home of ours work. Ah! I wish I could go and kill just one of those worthless stallions to relieve my frustrations."


Marauder was done and finish with this whole incident, Zilla had a choice she could leave or she can take her true place as Mardy's lead mare. it was up to her and only her. He was now ready to return to Fox and then to think of what next to do.

ZILLA

Her eyes looked around the land as she made the tears go back to how they were before. Snorting loudly as she stamped her dagger into the ground with a loud thud. Allowing her eyes to turn around when she heard the sound of Mardy coming up behind her. Watching as he came up in front of her and pulled himself to a quick halt. Wondering just what the hell he wanted with her now. Since Zilla really wanted nothing to do with this stag. He had pissed her off way more than he had ever done before and he was lucky that she did not have her little Mothra with her or he would have no nose left upon his skull.

Thorns perked upon her skull as she took in the words of the stallion that was before her body. Shifting her weight as she looked around at her daggers and then around to the lands around her. Allowing her globes to slowly move up the stags pillars and back into his face with thorns falling back slightly as he had brought up the herd again. He said that he hurt to, but he does not get it. She had gone through the pain that no other mare would ever get to feel until they allow themselves to birth a foal. Snorting at his words as she shifted her weight slightly to where she took a step back from the bronco.

"You say these things, Mardy, but you could have waited a tad longer for this herd thing. We lost something and you think a herd is going to cover it up and move everything to push it to the side like it was nothing. You just could have waited a tad bit longer. . .I'm not trying to do all these insults that are coming your way. Just showing that you could have waited for all of this. You want me as your lead mare yet I don't even have a clear mind to do anything. I wanted comfort and you go and find another mare to start this herd."

She paused as she shifted her weight and looked back over towards the mare that he had ran from. Looking over her body as she could see so much of why he would want her. With the spots being one big major thing with everything. Sighing as she looked down towards the ground and sighed before slowly looking back to Mardy without even moving her figure, but only her skull.

"An you want me to go back over there? After I about took the mare's head with all my frustration. Do you get these things Mardy? I needed you. I didn't need this herd or this land just yet. I needed comfort and my strength fully back and a clear head. This herd. . ."

Her words just stopped there. She did not want to go on anymore. She just sighed and allowed one more tear to drop from her face before she looked to the ground and allowed her skull to turn. Walking back over towards this mare that she didn't want anything to do with. She really didn't want anything to do with this place and she would definitely not tell Mardy anything about Adonis. Allowing her eyes to look down and watch as the necklace he had given her went back and forth upon her boa. Sighing as her daggers continued to move her closer and closer to the mare.

[[OOC]] - I made her stop there since I did not know what Fox had in mind to be doing XP I didn't want her walking up and Fox doing something else.

FOX

She couldn't believe this. All this time, she had spent thinking that Mardy had actually wanted/ her presence in the land, no matter what it was for. This was ridiculous, and she couldn't believe she had allowed herself to begin to trust him. She had known that she had been a means to an end, to allow him to get the lands that he desired for himself and Zilla. She was a pawn in his games, and, frankly, she was tired of it. He expected her to just stand by and wait patiently while he went running after the other mare. From the beginning, she had accepted that she was the less important of the three. She was an extra, so that he could have a home. But she was tired of standing around for this utter ridiculousness. She was a lot of things, but she wasn't about to add 'pushover' to that.

So when the pair started their trek over to where she still stood, she pinned her auds against her head in a blatant display of anger, and turned her back to the two. She would leave them to their little lover's fest, and go back to her own space. She wasn't going to stand around to be snapped at by a mare she had tried to be nice to. This wasn't the place for her to be right now. No, she needed to be alone, where she could figure out her anger, and what she was going to do about their words. She knew he would come for her eventually, but hopefully she could get a few days to herself.

She didn't want to know what they had discussed, or what he had said to Zilla to get her to come back looking defeated. That was their own business, and she wasn't interested in knowing about it. No, that was their own thing to deal with. She would let them be them, and she would deal with herself on her own. She cast a look over her shoulder as she walked, her image screwed up in fury. There had been times she had come close to taking a chunk out of Mardy's hide, but she knew if he tried to come near now, she would make contact.
