The following morning Ilene rose at the crack of dawn. The sky was still painted pink, red, yellow and some darkness still hung, the sun was just beginning to push its way up but she was well rested and ready to go. She stood to her hooves and gave her frame a shake, getting read of the dirt and grass free of her coat, with a snort she looked around and found Koda and trotted over to him and nuzzled him nibbling down his nape and then tugging gently on his tresses. “How did you sleep last night handsome?” She questioned softly with a smile standing next to him, turning her gaze to watch the sun come up over the horizon ever so slowly.
He sensed her movements as the sun began to rise over the ocean. The lights reflected off of the rippling water. He had been watching it for some time, waiting on her to rise. It was quite peaceful, standing in the copse of trees, listening to the birds chirping, the critters scurrying around looking for their first meal of the day, and the waves washing gently onto the sand. He loved mornings in this spot, watching everything go on like there wasn't a thing wrong anywhere in the world.
He was silent as he tuned his dome away from one beautiful sight to another. She lifted herself quietly, and trotted quickly to him. She was nibbling and tugging on his mane before a word was spoken between them. He was glad to finally have the company, and for that company to be her, but it was odd that he was no longer alone at all times. He was ecstatic that she had found him just the night before, it was just weird having someone to share these moments with once more.
"I slept well. How was your rest?" He hadn't lied to her. What little time he had spent asleep had been blissful and relaxed. He was just so accustomed to waking several times, and dozing when he got the chance. More often than not, he woke to check on her, and to check their surroundings to assure himself nothing had crept to them while they were vulnerable.

Ilene smiled at him and pranced around him before settling along his left side, “I slept wonderful for the first time in a while.” She grinned and nuzzled him, knowing she had a few important questions to ask him and she would get them out with ease because she trusted and loved him. “My dear when we get a land will I be your queen?” She questioned quietly looking to him before remembering her last question she had to get out, “and what do you think about a foal.” She spoke once more grinning before cocking her hind pillar and resting her crown upon his spine one more. Ilene was nervous asking him but she wanted to know, no it was more like needed to know because she didn’t want to be hurt and even though she knew Koda would never hurt her it was just for a peace of mind more or less on her end.

KODA
He welcomed her added heat with joy. It felt so natural to have her by his side, that he never wanted her to be anywhere else. He loved her with everything in him, and he couldn't imagine trying to live without her again. He couldn't even entertain the thoughts of being without her, or her without him.
He bumped her shoulder as she talked, listening with rapt attention to ever word she spoke. He chuckled when she finished. Right to the point, she was. It was refreshing. So many horses everywhere beat around the bush before finally asking what they wanted. "Of course you will be, if you want it. You're my girl." He bumped her shoulder again. "I don't want to announce it right away, though. Don't want to scare anyone off. Since you're so scary, you know." He laughed at the thought. He couldn't imagine her hurting anyone.
Her second question was equally as important as the first. He knew she was taking his answers seriously, and that they were very important to her. She wouldn't have asked if she didn't want them. He was such a sucker for her, that he figured he would do anything she asked him to do. "If you want a young one, I'll give you a young one. Anything for you, Ilene."

That sweet little laugh seemed to slip out as he spoke, “You know me to well love and I can be scary when needed.” She winked and looked out over the ocean and felt right at easy once more, there was just her and Koda right now and she truly honestly loved him with everything she had and could give. “Then a young one we shall have as soon as we are old enough.” Ilene looked to him and then scanned the land once more and found a patch of nice green grass and pranced toward it and then tore into it, lifting her crown to look at Koda as she chewed and then swallowed it down. “Come join me the grass is wonderful.” She spoke with excitement, once more tarring into the substance below her hooves shifting to make room for him as she finished what was in her mouth. “What are we going to do today?” She questioned, she was ready to explore and see what else these lands had to offer. After all she had only seen the beach and what she could see as their dream land it was just a matter of making it come true. Still looking at Koda she tilted her crown and waited.

KODA
He followed behind her to the grass she had found. There wasn't anywhere he wouldn't follow her. Be it to this little patch of grass, or to the other side of the world, he would follow her anywhere. Not a thing out there existed that would stop him from being by her side now that they had reconnected. He desired nothing more than to have her with him for the rest of their days. And now he could. He could wake each morning, and she would be there. She would be there when they bedded for the night. At any time, when he wanted to see her, he could.
"I thought we'd go for a nice long walk. I want to show you something." He knew she would be ecstatic once she found out. He couldn't wait to show her. Her happiness would be enough to keep him in high spirits for a long time. The only thing would be getting her there without guessing what it was. He wanted to keep it a surprise as long as he could, even if they didn't make it halfway to the lands before she guessed where they were going.
[sorry its so short. I figured I'd just make a post there, and they could all meet and whatnot.]
