Aquilon could not believe that she was finally finding a new home for herself. She was out here filling up on the late summer grass before meeting up with her new stag Jolin. She finally decided that she would go with him and so help him get the very thing he most desired, and that being a land to call his own. She was mostly lost in thought on just how best to serve Jolin if he so wished the Morgan mare to. The blood bay mare then took a few steps forward and then continued to graze away. Aquilon was slowly making her way to a small secluded spot with a small wooded plot of trees. If she had any idea on just what was around the corner season wise, she would of found a rock to crawl under and not come out. For fall was in the air you could almost taste it and that meant breeding season would soon be among all the horses around here. Aquilon though was not even thinking of such a thing, she just was enjoying the warm afternoon, the grass, and alone time to herself. For when she finally did meet up with Jolin having these quiet times would be a thing of the past.
The Morgan mare was so wrapped up in grazing she had not even noticed that she was now alone with not another equine in eyesight. Aquilon then lifted her head and slowly scan from right to left she was now wondering just where all the other horses went off to. She then came to view the small woods and wonder just why and how these trees ended up being here and the rest of the land was nothing but a grass plain. It really made no sense how the whole place around here was nothing but grass instead of woods. Daylight was fast starting to fade and it would be night soon. The young Morgan returned to her grazing and not giving anything a second thought. When she finally had her fill she would then pick up and start to make her way to the place Jolin told her to meet him. The sooner she did this the sooner she could start her new herd life. She turned her back to the woods and slowly started to graze away from them, The wind was blowing right in her face and so she could not smell anything from the sides or rear of her. But she also sort of didn't like those woods and had no idea why.
If the young mare had any idea on what type of horse was prowling around here she would of took off and never looked back, and also never returned here. Aquilon though was only thinking about herself and her many future possibilities. Now if some horse wanted to surprise her now was the best time for it. The very thing she feared the most was soon to fall upon her and she didn't even know it.
